Let us pray that we do not resemble these people...  Unfortunately, I fear that we have already become like the Israelites of Isaiah's time: selfish, greedy, calling ourselves servants of the Lord but acting like pagans...

It's time for those who fear the Lord to show who we are, to set ourselves apart, and do what the Word tells us to do:

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. There is no danger that the James Cameron film can disprove any of the Bible; but, as the apostle Paul wrote in Romans 1 and 2nd Timothy 3:1-9 (read at http://www.biblegateway.com), humans will go to great lengths to avoid going to heaven.

A detailed defense of the Bible would involve disproving the Apocrypha used as part of the basis for the movie. Interesting to some; but not as entertaining as the movie to those of limited attention spans.

Jesus stated that it was better that one have a millstone hung around one's neck and be thrown into the sea than to lead a child astray (Matt 18:6, Mark 9:42, Luke 17:2). May God have mercy on us if we don't do all we can to be ready (Ephesians 6:10-20, 2nd Timothy 4:1-5, Titus 3:1-11) to show the Gospel to those around us hungry for the Bread of Life (John 6:25-59) and thirsty for Living Water (John 4:1-26, 7:38)...

At the Battle of Thermopylae, 300 Spartans and their allies stopped 2 million illegal invaders at the point of the spear.  Yes, they died; but they saved their Borders, Language, and Culture.

Now, it's worth pointing out that I don't care about Greek borders as much as they did.  They were flaming homosexuals.  They were slave-owners.  And they worshipped as many gods as their imagination could drum up.

But they were men of integrity.  Which is far more than we can say about most of those in Washington, DC.

We desperately need to turn this country around.  What you or I do in our bedrooms isn't the point; but what we do to preserve our Constitution and our way of life is critical.  We need to stop illegal immigration.  We need to help people assimilate better.  We need to quit forcing people to hide their religion.

Time to roll up our sleeves and get to work.

With appropriate respect for the Christian-hating Hollywood crowd, the new documentary that miraculously digs up "proof" of the Muslim-funded and previously debunked work of fiction, The DaVinci Code, seems like it represents just one more bit of Bible prophecy revealed in our lifetime...

Other scholars have shown that the Apocrapha were all created after the eyewitnesses of our Lord's life, ministry, miracles, death. burial, and resurrection were long dead.  The Canonical books of the New Testament were all written during the lives of those who witnessed the events written about--and were written at a time when they could easily have been proven wrong (if they were)...

By the Grace of Our Lord, the USA has continued to be blessed with men and women who don't falter or turn back.  Recruiting for the Armed Forces is meeting the numbers.  But there are many (old and young) who stain the flag with their cowardice and treason.

We know who they are.  They ought to be run out of town on rails; but we've become too accustomed to treating these false Americans with kid gloves.  It started back in the 1930s when Soviet agents penetrated the Democrat Party and installed their man Alger Hiss (and others).

They control many of the judges.  They control most of the mainstream media.  They control the Universities.  They seem to control the Congress. And without the Providence of Almighty God (Whose mercies endure forever), they will silence their critics and plunge the USA into either secular or Muslim tyranny and oppression.

It's our fault.

We saw them for who they were; but we allowed them to laugh us to scorn as we called them what and who they were.

We voted for RINOs like Allen Specter and Lincoln Chafee.  We voted for so-called Conservatives who were really homosexual pedophiles like Mark Foley.  We voted for George "Dubya" Bush because we believed he was a Conservative.  We walked into the spider's web with our eyes open.

And now, we may only have one chance left to save the USA.  The 2008 Election may be the last, unless we defeat the foes of the American dream.  Find Conservative Candidates.  Examine them for truth and adherence to principles. Support them with your time and money.

And pray for the United States of America that we can remain free...

George Bush, Bill Frist, and Dennis Hastert, by their lack of clear moral convictions, their unwillingness as the majority party to act as the majority, and their astoundingly inept failure to heed the clearly expressed will of the American People, have handed our government over to the Communists or the Islamofascists.

I only hope they live to regret their craven failure to honor their Oaths of Office.

If the Republicans expect to ever win another vote from my family, they need to pull their heads out of their collective arses...

Oh yeah, and Daniel Ortega is back in power in Nicaragua...  Anyone still have a copy of his "wanted for murder" poster?  I lost mine in my most recent move; but I'd like make sure we have that and all of John Kerry's other friends properly documented online...

I still have a lot of anger, fear, hatred, weakness, bitterness, and so on about the terrorist attack.

I generally cover it up; but it bubbles up occasionally.

The world did not change on 9/11; just our understanding of it.

Americans tend to view themselves as good people--and we generally are, depending on the measuring stick used...

If we really used the "secular" part of the Ten Commandments (i.e., skipping the parts about other gods, idols, misusing His name, and sabbaths), we'd all still fail:



We don't always honor our parents.  We hate others in our hearts (which Jesus said was the same as committing murder in our hearts), we lust after members of the opposite sex--well in most cases it's the opposite sex (which Jesus said was the same as committing adultery in our hearts), we steal (even just pens, paper clips, or time spent at work surfing the web), we lie (usually to save ourselves from something wrong we did), and we envy the success of others.

We're all far short of who we should be.  The Bible calls that "sin".  And since God already knew we'd all be sinners, he gave us a way to avoid the penalty we deserve. 

Jesus died on the cross to save you and me from our sins.  Please ask Him into your heart today.  Read the Bible to find out more.  And go to church on Sunday--there are people who really want to meet you and help you find out more about true freedom!

Photograph everyone.  Fingerprint everyone.  Sample everyone's DNA.  Build robust, invasive tracking features for non-citizens. 

Incarcerate those who don't follow the law.  And we don't need new laws if the Congress won't fund enforcement of existing laws.

Rapidly deport those who don't belong here.  Let their appeals take place at the US Consulate in their home country.

Sure, it'll make it easier for the AntiChrist, the Beast, "666, and all of that".  But that's coming anyway.  Whether you believe the Bible or not...

Until then, I want my country as secure as we can make it.

How many of the 19 hijackers were here legally, doing what they said they were going to do?  Does that make my point?

Apparently not, since the President hasn't moved to close our borders as effectively as he's doing overseas. And yes, I freely admit he knows more about potential threats than I do.  But would it really hurt us to know who is here and why?

It took my wife three years to get her temporary green card application approved (so they just gave her a permanent one.  It took six months to process her naturalization paperwork.  We should be able to do this at border entry points.  Virtual Ellis Islands, eh wot?

Politicians disgust me most of the time.  John McCain was a brave guy in his youth.  Apparently so were Jimmy Carter, John Murtha, John Kerry, and Charlie Rangel.  But, in their dotage, these one-time defenders of "Truth, Justice, and the American Way" have turned into purveyors of Kryptonite...

McCain's service to this country as a US Navy officer, his conduct as a POW in Vietnam, and his inspirational story are well known.  But since that time, he has not shown himself to be of the same quality, the same character.   His teaming up with Russ Feingold set up the restrictions on free speech that became MoveOn.org and the Swiftboat Vets.  In their alleged attempt to prevent "big money" from influencing elections, they created a greater problem.  And I'm still too contemptuous of McCain's actions during the Senate debate on Immigration Reform to put something into words...  I would not vote for John McCain against anyone for anything...  He cannot be trusted any more...

Jimmy Carter was an honorable US Navy officer, the captain of a nuclear submarine.  How he fell is not important to me; but he is the Worst US President ever (those who were in the military when he was in the White House may agree with me).  And he got still worse after he left office.  He is a contemptible person who hides his hatred of working people in his social work.  But he is as much responsible for Nork Korean nukes as anyone else outside of North Korea.  And he is personally responsible for funding Al Qaeda and establishing the butcher Robert Mugabe in Zimbabwe.  His actions legitamized the murderer Daniel Ortega as a leader in Nicaragua--who is now an important ally of Hugo Chavez...

John Murtha was awarded the Bronze Star with Valor device, two Purple Hearts and the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry.  His service in the USMC was unquestionable honorable.  But he, like the rest of his formerly valorous collegues, seems not to have the stomach for seeing the job done.  His stands against abortion and gun control are to be praised; but he doesn't appear to be a clear thinker, supporting additional funding for fetal stem cell research (that involves killing human embryos) and apparently not recognizing that our pullout from Iraq now would create fewer allies and lose us many who support us now--since we could no longer be depended upon for help if the enemy was difficult to dislodge.  John Murtha learned nothing important from his 38 years in the Marines...

John Kerry's war record has been scrutinized as much as is possible, given his reluctance to release his records.  I tend to think his Silver Star and three Purple Hearts were awarded honorably; but I also think he should have been Dishonorably Discharged and tried for Misbehavior In The Face Of The Enemy for having separate, secret meeting with the North Vietnamese in Paris while still serving in the US Naval Reserve.  His waffling is nothing new to observers of US Politics.  His attempt to brand himself as a War Hero and an Anti-War Activist at the same time shows the depth of his character is very shallow indeed...

Charlie Rangel served in the US Army from 1948-1952, earned a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart.  And since that time, he has worked tirelessly to erode our National Security.  He has twice, in 2003 and 2006, introduced legislation to reestablish a draft--in spite of the fact that he knows it will never pass--to show his contempt for our efforts to help peeople of the wrong color achieve freedom from tyranny...  I guess the only minorities that matter to Charlie are the ones to which he belongs...

How can I criticize these great men?  I don't have any medals.  I never served in combat, much less receiving any wounds.  My time in the service was far shorter than these men; but I also served.  As an American, I have the right to hold my own opinion, and publish it without fear of reprisal.  And while I do honor and revere the service these men gave in the past, I want them to know I find them horrible, craven shells of the heroes they used to be...

I'm not technical enough.

I've been studying computer stuff since the mid-70s, been employed in computer-related jobs that have taken me to six countries on three continents.  I've taught classes.  And because I haven't spent the last couple years hands-on with servers, I was turned down for a really cool opportunity...

I guess I need to spend less time goofing off and get back to work!!
