Genesis 12:1-4
1 The LORD had said to Abram, "Leave your country, your people and your father's household and go to the land I will show you. 2 "I will make you into a great nation
and I will bless you;
I will make your name great,
and you will be a blessing.
3 I will bless those who bless you,
and whoever curses you I will curse;
and all peoples on earth
will be blessed through you."
4 So Abram left, as the LORD had told him; and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he set out from Haran.
Seventy-five years old and he moved to a land he didn't know at the call of God. The Lord blessed Abram, renamed him Abraham, and, through him and his descendants, blessed the whole world.
What are you prepared to do? Where are you prepared to go when the Lord calls you? Do you have enough faith to tell your next-door neighbor about Jesus?
Where does faith come from?
Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ. (Romans 10:17)
Read the Bible. Pray for faith. Pray that God will use you mightily.
It may be a very humble path, or a glorious highway he chooses for you; but if you submit to God, He will bless you beyond your hopes and dreams.
